Hailing from Middlesbrough, an industrial town on the banks of the river Tees, Gow is not the typical product of an area renowned for steel works and ship building. He is quirky, energetic, has a taste for travel and an un-shakeable positive outlook on life.
Productions on Germany?s Trapez and New York Citys Digiprana labels are seeing great success for Gow, with a string of supporters like: Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh and Richie Hawtin. His Jiffy Hornswoggle EP was awarded 10/10 from a Resident Advisor review and he was commissioned to produce a track for the Trapez 100th release compilation.
His musical style is much like the man himself, positive, energetic, forward thinking and quirky. A tantalising blend of deep and tech house with elements of minimal and techno is created as he glides through his collection, gradually crossing genres. Editing the majority of tracks he plays to add his own interpretation, you can always be sure to hear exclusive material. A resident and a treasured character at both *riffraff in Middlesbrough, and the Zoo Project in Ibiza, he is also a regular at institutions like BackToBasics and Shindig
Throughout the summer months, you may come across him exploring the grounds of the Zoo, go and say hello. Remember, appearances can be deceiving
