Jordan Peak

Groove . . . you either have it or you don't. Brought up listening to his mums motown and soul records and his dads chicago house collection groove is something Jordan knows all about. It shows in his DJ sets and in his productions. Born in 1987 around the time the very first strands of House & Techno started to surface, Jordan's music shows a maturity way beyond his years. Taking a major influence from old school legends such as Kerri Chandler, DJ Sneak, Todd Terry, Masters At Work and MK who he was exposed to from a young age thanks to his music loving father, Jordan's sound is full of warm, analog beats married with modern studio tecnologies and high class production values. A diverse producer who is equally adapt at crafing deeper, soulfull shades of house as he is more pumping, dancefloor slaying fodder. This year alone has seen him release on Raum...Musik, Saved, Material Series, Natural Rhythm, Escapism Musique, Akbal Music and confirmed for release in early 2011 a track on the legendary House label Robsoul as part of the Robsoul ltd29 sampler and EPs on Adam Shelton and Subb-An's outstanding imprint One Records & Kevin Griffiths phenomenal Tsuba records. As if thats not enough theres also more releases from Jordan planned on his home label, Nic Fanciulli's Saved records, through out the course of the year. A tireless workaholic, expect to see Jordan's name a lot more in the not too distant future
