Kris Menace is fast becoming one of the most respected producers and DJs in electronic music.
Like indeed musical mavericks such as Felix Da Housecat and Jagz Kooner want to work with him and
he has wide ranging taste maker DJ support from Pete Tong and Laurent Garnier through to Erol Alkan and Annie Mac.
Kris is also the owner of the house label Work It Baby where he has nurtured Fred Falke, Patrick Alavi,
Lifelike, Serge Santiago and others. Menace's debut single, "Discopolis" was released on Vulture Music in 2005.
It was one of the biggest selling house tracks of the year and soon became an Ibiza anthem. "Discopolis" was
later picked up by Defected Records and re-released with various remixes and a video directed by
Seb Janiak (Daft Punk, Robbie Williams..)
Menace later launched the "Compuphonic" label as a home for his own productions such as "Voyage", "Fairlight",
"Steamroller" and "Jupiter". The latter became one of the most downloaded tracks of 2006 on the Electronic Music
Download Platform Beatport. He started DJ'ing with his friend Alan Braxe in 2006 and toured around the world.
Together they released the single "Lumberjack" in June 2007 on Vulture Music.
Kris Menace has now become a highly in demand remixer, contributing remixes for LCD Soundsystem, AIR,
Felix Da Housecat, The Presets, Roisin Murphy, Tracey Thorn, Princess Superstar, Martin Solveig, Winona,
2008 is going to be Kris' best year yet! He has teamed up with UK dance legends Spooky to release
"Stereophonic" in April and he has been writing with Felix Da Housecat.. the fruits of their labours will
be unveiled in May. A 'Best Of' compilation is being prepared for an autumn release while
Kris prepares his debut artist album to be released in 2009.
