Over two decades, Agile Recordings owner Uto Karem has tirelessly played across the world. Europe, America and Asia, he's produced on labels such as Plus 8, SCI-TEC, Tronic, Definitive, Global Underground, H-Productions, Suara or Ministry of Sound. His music has been played and supported by the likes of Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Marco Carola, John Digweed, John Acquaviva, Umek and Luciano just to name a few.

Uto's career has seen him spin at worldwide parties like Miami Utra Music Festival, Tomorrowland Belgium, Carl Cox The Revolution Ibiza, Pacha London, Rex Club Paris, Watergate Berlin and more.

In mid-90’s, Uto established a strong passion and an understanding of the career he was about to embark on. He started gathering inspiration from world-beaters such as Jeff Mills, Sven Vath and Richie Hawtin in the main clubs of Naples like Old River Park, Metropolis and Cube.

In 2008 Uto give birth to his own Agile Recordings label. Cautious of the limitations that can occur with running a label, he explored a platform where he could create and express his musical tastes without restrictions. Many great releases later, deriving both from renowned producers and new forward thinking artists, Uto's Agile Recordings received worldwide success and reception, hitting the Top 10 on Beatport Charts, topping the charts at No 1, and many of its 12’’ vinyl quickly selling out.

Forward and innovative thinking must be at the core of every modern DJ, and Uto is certainly no different. Keeping it relevant and fresh, since 2012 his "Utopolys Radio" podcast has been broadcasted in more than 50 stations in 25 countries.
